The club informed today that the Football Association decided on PPG to decide final standings for the FAWSL season.
The Football Association have today confirmed the final standings for the 2019/20 @BarclaysFAWSL season, with Manchester City finishing second and securing UEFA Women's Champions League qualification for 2020/21.— Manchester City (@ManCity) June 5, 2020
I find the decision to not only cancel the season, but then not void to be the wrong call.
Anything would have been better, a small playoff, playing some of the fixtures or just finishing the season outright.
It’s not fair. But, then again money rules in football and life.
Nonetheless, congratulations on qualifying for the UEFA Women’s Champions League. With some modest investing, I think the club can compete for glory.
The club needs to buy in.
