RB Leipzig want to sign Angelino on a permanent deal. Man City loaned him out in January and he could make a permanent move away from the Etihad.
His future could depend on how the COVID-19 pandemic affects finances. The Bundesliga club hope to open negotiations with a view to getting him for around half the cost of the initial agreement (£25M).
Per Jonathan Smith of Goal, Leipzig want a lower fee if they are to take his contract on. This does not make a load of sense. From the report it seems they have liked his play and he has done well. Which is why its curious they want a lower fee despite the performance. It just does not add up.
City should be wise and stick to their valuation of £25M or just bring him back.
Thoughts on Angelino and the deal?
