Welcome back City faithful! This is a round up of this weeks headlines. I have three topics.
Let’s dig in.

A well deserved award. Considering KDB’s season he should be favored in the Premier League’s award as well. He has saved City many times this season and deserves recognition.
2. Manchester City Academy Director Praises Phil Foden
Manchester City academy director, Jason Wilcox said of Phil: “Phil’s journey has been incredible. When you look at a player who has high levels of technical ability, physically and technically great, he ticks those boxes. Those players can play for any manager in the world...” “Our aim is to produce more Foden‘s. We have internal targets that we are trying to produce as many players for our first team. We are not shying away from that.”
That certainly high praise for the young phenom and one I hope he takes to heart. Phil is a special player and should be the lynch pin of City for a decade plus.
3. Fernadinho Spoke To Former Teammate and Said a Lot
The Brazilian star spoke to former teammate and friend Kleberson from the Philedelphia Union of MLS, where Kleb is now a youth coach. Ferna touched on Pep and his time at City.
On the city of Manchester- “I’m settled in Manchester - everyone has passion for football! Since I moved to Manchester, you can feel the love and respect from the fans - it gives you extra motivation to keep working hard and try to be the best on and off the pitch.”
On Pep and the team- “I like him [Pep Guardiola] as a person and as a coach. For me he is one of the best, especially on the pitch, on technical and tactical terms. It’s a big pleasure to work with him every day and to learn from him - every day you grow...”
“It’s a team built to win titles - I’m so happy to be a part of this team. We have a lot of good players, some considered superstars. But all are humble and work hard every day, focused on winning. This is why this team is special...”
“For me, it is a great opportunity and when I retire, moments with this team will always be in my heart and my memory.”
Ferna is a special player and person. His time is used wisely and giving back to an old teammate and his coaching kids is special and something those kids won’t forget. He continues to impress at all levels.
That is it. Check out our site for more City coverage even in a time of no football. Cheers.
