After a troubling defeat at the hands of Manchester United, players have spoken about their frustrations with the game. One of the first was Ilkay, who spoke out strongly against Mike Dean the head official for Sunday’s match.
Have a look at what he said-
Ilkay Gundogan:
”There was frustration about the free kick before the [United] goal. It was not a foul at all. I just touched the ball and he goes on the floor shouting.
I don’t even know if the referee saw it or just had a feeling that it was a foul...”
This criticism follows what many saw as an unfairly called foul.
