Official: All Professional Football in England Halted

After much hand wringing and various positive tests for COVID-19 the powers that be have suspended football activity all up and down the footballing pyramid.

From the PL site-

“ Premier League, FA, EFL and WSL have collectively agreed to postpone the professional game in England

Following a meeting of Shareholders today, it was unanimously decided to suspend the Premier League with the intention of returning on 4 April, subject to medical advice and conditions at the time.”

A wise move considering the impact of the virus has had in Italy and now sleeping in to Spain, France and England.
