Manchester City earned another youth title in the Under 18 Premier League Cup final. City claimed glory for a second successive season as they hit Stoke for six at the Academy Stadium.
After a Sam Edozie’s deflected strike gave a first half lead, City turned on the engines after the break scoring five more.
The final scoreline was a lopsided and perhaps unfair given the visitors proved tough opponents for the opening 60 minutes.
Still, Gareth Taylor’s side were a joy to watch and the full-time whistle gave way to scenes of celebration and jubilation with the players after a superb campaign that saw City retain the trophy in fantastic fashion.
