Manchester City is back at Wembley in what is another final cup game and could be City’s first trophy this season.
Both teams will look to start strong and they come in adverse form. City is coming off its huge Champions League win in Madrid and riding a real high. While Villa have struggled all season and come in having lost all three previous matches.
Alas, it is still a Cup final and both teams will be up for it being Villa’s first chance for a trophy in a minute.
Team News:
Aymeric Laporte’s injury is worse than thought and he will be out a while. Leroy Sane is set to continue to build up his fitness and played midweek in the Academy game.
Villa have Jed Steer, John McGinn, Tom Heaton, and Wesley Moraes out.
Prediction
A strong side by City and the high of a victory in Madrid give me the feeling Pep and company can pull together a strong cup win. City win and big.
