Preview

Manchester City and West Ham try again to play their Premier League tie which was cancelled just over a week ago due to Storm Ciara. The blues will look to put their UEFA troubles behind them as they resume Premier League action following the ‘winter break.’

West Ham find themselves in the relegation zone after winning just one match of 2020, which came on New Years Day.

Team News

Raheem Sterling has been ruled out with a hamstring injury and Leroy Sane is not yet back to fitness following his injury in the Community Shield in August. Oleksandr Zinchenko is suspended following his red card at Spurs. Benjamin Mendy and Aymeric Laporte could both return for the blues.

For the Hammers, Felipe Anderson could return after injury, while January signing Jarrod Bowen could make his debut for the club.

Prediction

After believing City would put together a string of wins they went out and lost to Spurs despite being the better team. My prediction is a lot more realistic this time. West Ham are a reeling team and the fans do not seem to be too happy at the current time. Pair that with a city looking for blood and we got the makings of a possible destruction. However, I do not see City being up for it giving the break is coming so I’ll go with a nervy win.
