Manchester City Planing Huge Summer Move - Report

The reports have been brewing and now one of the world’s most note worthy insiders confirms Manchester City are planning a huge move in the summer 2021 transfer window.

That is according to Fabrizio Romano’s latest podcast, where he details City’s two priorities are locking in Kevin De Bruyne to long term contract and making a splash in the window. (Listen Here)

Immediately, my mind went to Lionel Messi. It would be a huge coup and while he is not Messi of old, he can still contribute in a team stacked with stars. He would not have to be the main focal point and could contribute in other ways.

That led me to a more interesting thought. What if it’s Messi PLUS a superstar. Say Erling Haaland or Kylian Mbappe? Other names have been thrown out there and I believe most City fans knew summer 2021 would be a busy one as the club looks to recruit another fullback and a midfielder in addition to Messi and a star.

Many possibilities. Fewer certainties. We’ll see where this leads as Pep looks to revitalize this team and lead to even higher heights.
