Preview

City enter with an impressive unbeaten run in all competitions at nine games, with just two goals conceded in that time. City sit eight albeit with a game back.

Newcastle’s last league outing coming in a 1-1 home draw against Fulham. The Magpies were also in Carabao Cup action this week, losing 1-0 away to Brentford.

This game does feel like a ‘get right’ match for City considering the magpies form. We shall see.

Team News

Pep Guardiola will have an absence in Eric Garcia and a questionable player in Nathan Ake.

Newcastle face several players out. Allan Saint-Maximin and centre-back Jamaal Lascelles, out with Covid. Goalkeeper Martin Dubravka out with injury as well.

Manchester City 4-1 Newcastle
