Gabriel Jesus see’s improvement and believes it’s important to be inventive in order to be a top-level striker after he scored a brilliant goal in the 1-1 draw with Liverpool.
The Brazilian shared some thoughts after earning a draw vs a very game Liverpool side.
“Yeah, it was amazing play from the guys,” the Brazilian reflected on the build-up to the goal.
“When we play like this we have more chances. Kevin (De Bruyne) can control the ball and find me in the box, (and) I controlled and finished”.
“All the time like this, I have to try (new things), the attackers have to try things, and I scored the goal”.
“We have to win all the games we play here (at the Etihad).
“We have to control more, play more, attack like we have in the past and try to score our chances.
“The result is maybe not good for us but good for them (Liverpool), but we have to keep fighting to the end because there are a lot of games to play.
“We know they work hard and have a lot of amazing players. They can beat us and we can beat them, it’s football.”
Now, with the international break upon us we can only hope for no injuries as the next match is 21 of November!
