Preview

Manchester City are coming off a great Champions League win. That added with some positive results in the league makes for a great match.

Liverpool have had a great mid week win over a usually solid Atalanta and will look to keep that form.

We are sure to be in for a great game.

Team News

Gabriel Jesus is available after making a timely goal scoring return against Olympiakos on Tuesday.

Sergio Aguero, Fernandinho and Benjamin Mendy all remain sidelined with muscles injuries.

Naby Keita and Joel Matip were back in the matchday squad for Liverpool’s midweek win over Atalanta, but Thiago Alacantara is a doubt for Sunday’s clash.

The midfielder had not returned to training before Tuesday’s Champions League game.

Fabinho, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Virgil Van Dijk will all miss the trip to the Etihad.

Prediction

A back and forth game that should feature some goals. I do think City’s quality in midfield will be the difference. Pep will know what Klopp is thinking and that should help.

Manchester City 4-2 Liverpool
