Ferran Torres: ‘I am so glad I joined Man City’

Ferran Torres, speaking prior to a UCL match, spoke very highgly about his short time at Manchester City. He was full of praise and looked forward to the future at this great club.

“It’s a great motivation when a club like Manchester City is interested in you,” the Spanish international admitted.

“When they tried to sign me, I knew there was a big expectation on me, the club is huge, so it’s a big challenge.

“But I really wanted to come, and I am glad I came.

“We know David Silva is a legend of Man City - he has been a great player for many years. I wear his number and hopefully I can honour him with my performances and hopefully I can meet him in the future.”

I love the attitude, Torres has proved to be a solid player and he can only learn and go up from here.
