Manchester City are looking to keep the streak going after their successful attempts to keep Pep Guardiola at the club by locking down two major first-team stars to new deals, according to the latest reports.
Negotiations are already in the preliminary stage with Kevin de Bruyne, as Simon Mullock of the Mirror reports that the Belgian has indicated his willingness to stay at the club.
Raheem Sterling now joins that as City want to keep a relatively young core in sky blue for a long time. It would be wise to do so as Pep enters a mini rebuild with the bulk of it coming this summer. Having these two superstars bought in and ready to help and recruit new players would be invaluable.
It should get done before the summer.
