Jack Grealish is back at the center of Manchester City’s plans for a small rebuild. As Pep Guardiola reportedly wants hm to be the first piece in his re-invigorating of the club.
Indy Football reported that Pep Guardiola sees Grealish as a ‘highly buyable’ player who can also restore a ‘spark’ to City’s play. However, the five-year deal signed with Villa in September includes an agreement that he cannot leave for less than £100M.
An interesting proposition, I don’t buy it however. That seems much to high for a player of any quality and Grealish does not have game changing type qualities. He is a great player, not elite one.
More sense would be to chase Hassem Aouar or Denis Zakaria as reported on before. With Erling Haaland and the constant Lionel Messi rumors it will be a very interesting and hopefully fruitful window next summer.
Thoughts on Grealish?
