Preview

The pair have met just once before, when City eliminated the Greek side in the 10-11 Europa League competition. City are coming off a win v Marseille, while Olympiakos lost to Porto.

It should be an interesting affair considering the style match ups. Pep and his men will look to exploit the better players, but with no striker, will have to rely on some creative thinking by Pep and who he selects. Could we see a false nine? Or a rotating CF play like v Arsenal? It will be interesting to see what he goes with.

Team News

Sergio Aguero, Fernandinho and Benjamin Mendy are all out with injury. Gabriel Jesus is questionable.

For the Greek team, only Al arbi Hilel Soudani is out.

Prediction

Manchester City 2-1 Olympiakos
