The Brazilian national team have have reassured Manchester City that Ederson and Gabriel Jesus have not contracted Covid-19, after a positive test for right-back Gabriel Menino.
This comes after an already record high injuries/covid designations for the club with 16. Which is highest in the Premier League. It’s good to see some better news as City have nearly 15 players out on international duty.
Now we must wait until they come back and hope for both no injuries and no positive tests. It is a bit more understandable for CONMEBOL, the South American confederation, to play qualifying matches for the World Cup, but for everyone else it did not make sense to play these games.
