Could anyone arrive?

Welcome to deadline day! It seems like it will be a quiet day for Manchester City. Other than a couple sales, don’t expect an arrival.

Let’s see where we stand on the last day of the transfer window.

No players expected to arrive

The Manchester Evening News reported that the reason why City have not pursued a left back was a matter of ‘balancing the books’ and since they could not shift Oleksandr Zinchenko, it made no sense in terms of balance, both in the squad and on the wage bill. So no forward, midfielder or fullback will arrive this window. Zinchenko’s camp has maintained that he will stay and fight for a place on defense and midfield.

Tosin Adarabioyo should find a new home

Fulham are looking seriously at signing Tosin Adarabioyo. They join a congested race from about six other teams including Everton and West Ham. The lily whites do seem favored in getting him as the Daily Mail, reports he is in line to play at Fulham regularly. We’ll see if deal gets done, rumored price point is 8m pounds.

Eric Garcia Looks Likely to depart

Spanish media reports that once Barcelona meet Man City’s valuation of €15M the player will leave England and sign for his childhood club. A deal that seems likely to get done and City will recoup some cash for a player on an expiring deal.
