Phil Foden: “It’s not a good point. We wanted three...”

English phenom with real passion here.

After a frustrating result, Phil Foden does not like it one bit. Even though City created several good opportunities after his leveller, they were forced to settle for a draw

So, even delighted to have found the target, Foden admitted it was a frustrating result for the team. For the club they expect better and I’m glad Foden knows it, too.

He said-

“It’s not a good point. We wanted three but we’re not a team who will sulk a lot,” Foden reflected.

“We’ll get over it tomorrow, look at things we can improve on and go ahead.

“I tried to be lively and make a difference. I got the goal but unfortunately, we couldn’t get the second

“We came out second half playing lot quicker and being more aggressive. We need to work on finishing more chances and we should be OK.

“We started slow in the first half - we weren’t passing quick enough around the back and didn’t have a good tempo

“The manager spoke well at half time and more chances fell to us.

“I enjoy scoring and it was nice to get the goal. I love this club and love playing for them.”

Love to see that in the future of your club. Good on ya Phil.
