Bernardo Silva and Joao Cancelo were key cogs in Portugal’s 3-0 win over Sweden in the UEFA Nations League.

The Manchester City duo had a great addition in two goals, with the midfielder firing home the first and Cancelo providing the pass from which Diogo Jota added the second.

In Italy, Nathan Ake played the entire 90-minutes as the Netherlands drew 1-1 with Italy. The 25-year-old was one of three centre-backs in a five-man Dutch defence.

In the final international fixture involving City players, Kyle Walker suffered a frustrating evening with England.

Gareth Southgate’s side fell to a 1-0 defeat against Denmark and it was Walker who conceded the penalty from which Christian Eriksen scored the decisive goal.

A long break, finally over. Some national teams played three games! UEFA and other associations are just doing too much, this break was unnecessary. Never the less, domestic leagues return this weekend and Manchester City will face Arsenal. Pep v Arteta. We have already taken a look at the opposition. Stick with us as we preview the game and more.
