Pep had his normal pre-game press conference and touched on a variety of topics.

Let’s see what the gaffer had for us this week.

Pep on injuries-

“Yes, positive,” Guardiola said. “Leroy is still not training with us but everything is going really well.

“Aymeric made another week with us training.

“Everyone else is more or less fit, yeah.”

Pep on styles contrast between teams City face-

“We had one or two days off then we train and prepare for the game,” he said. “How to defend, how to attack them.

“It will be similar against Sheffield United because their shape is similar.

“West Ham game, after we have 15, 16 days.

“Review our game, what works, what doesn’t. No special differences.”

Pep on Roy Hodgson-

“It’s incredible to still have the passion to be a manager at his age,” the boss revealed in a press conference before Saturday’s 3pm kick-off.

“We cannot forget their position when he took over. Everyone considered Palace relegated. He made an incredible job and he is still doing one.

“It’s a pleasure for me when we face each other, and we have a good relationship.”

“It’s addictive. You are with young people working, athletes. It’s a competition, you need to prove yourself.

“Every game is different, opponents are different, maybe that’s the reason why older managers are still in charge.”

Pep on transfers-

“I am not going to talk about rumours about our players or other players. We are going to buy 500 million players? I’m not going to answer about that.”

Pep on the rumored party-

“I knew about it. When they have time, they make dinners together with the staff. I know it and I like when they are together out of here, sometimes at home or sometimes in restaurants. It was nice.”

Pep on status or next season-

“Unless the club sacks me, I’m going to stay next season. 100% I’m going to stay next season. 100%.” “I’ve said it many times. Not because we won the last two games. I’m sorry, I’m going to stay. I enjoy working with them, I like it. But even if it was going bad I’m not going anywhere.”

Thats it for this week’s comments. Thoughts?
