On 29 August, Manchester City learned their fate in this season’s UEFA Champions League.
Contrary to earlier reports, it appears the Sky Blues will not be banned from the competition. Instead, Manchester City were drawn into Group C, where they will face Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk, Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb and Italian team Atalanta in the Champions League Group Stage.
Manchester City’s six group stage matches will be played on the following days and locations:
18 September: Shakhtar Donetsk vs Manchester City – Group Stage Matchday One
1 October: Manchester City vs Dinamo Zagreb – Group Stage Matchday Two
22 October: Manchester City vs Atalanta – Group Stage Matchday Three
6 November: Atalanta vs Manchester City – Group Stage Matchday Four
26 November: Manchester City vs Shakhtar Donetsk – Group Stage Matchday Five
11 December: Dinamo Zagreb vs Manchester City – Group Stage Matchday Six
