Prediction:
AFC Bournemouth have struggled in their previous EPL meetings against Manchester City, where the Cherries lost all eight of their encounters. During these eight fixtures they were vastly outplayed by City as the Cherries only scored three goals in eight games. In contrast, City scored 25 goals. Finally, Bournemouth did not register a single shot on goal in their last meeting. In short, things do not look good for the Cherries, but stranger things have happened.
Meanwhile, Manchester City will have to overcome last weekend’s result against Tottenham Hotspur. The Sky Blues vastly outplayed their opponent but were unable to record a victory. City will have to put this match behind them, however, as loathing for missed chances will not help them earn a victory in this upcoming fixture. City will have to keep a level head, and should they produce the same level of football that they did against West Ham, this game on Matchday 3 could easily turn into another routine victory for the Sky Blues.
Bournemouth have the talent and skill to trouble City. If the visitors are not careful, this could be another match where they could potentially drop points. Given last week’s display, however, City will do everything in their power to ensure they record a victory on Sunday.
