Manchester City midfielder Fabian Delph has joined Everton in a deal reported to be worth £9m.

Delph signed for City under previous manager Manuel Pellegrini, but has struggled for game time in recent seasons. The former Aston Villa man filled in for the injured Benjamin Mendy two seasons ago, but the form of Oleksandr Zinchenko last season kept Delph out of the side following another Mendy injury.

Speaking after his move was completed, Delph admitted it was difficult to leave the treble champions, but he really needed game time and when an opportunity came to join a club like Everton, he couldn't turn it down.

Thank you Fabian for your service and wish you success at your new club.
