Number one target for Manchester City this transfer window has been upgrading the center of the pitch and it looks like they will get their man. It is of course, Atletico Madrid’s, Rodri. The 22 year old has a reported release fee of 70m Euros, but City are looking to get the midfielder at a lower price.
And now Sam Lee of Goal has reported:

Rodri would be a fine get for Pep Guardiola and company. Despite strong interest from Bayern Munich it does look like City will come out on top and solidify a position of need for City.
