Manchester City Women’s star Nikita Parris has joined European Champions Lyon after leaving the blues at the end of the season.
Parris, whose contract expires in the summer, scored 19 goals this season as the blues won the FA Cup and League Cup, and was named Football Writers’ Association’s Women’s Footballer of the Year.
She joins former blue Lucy Bronze, who joined the French club in 2017. Lyon have won the women’s Champions League four times in succession, the most recent coming after a 4-1 victory over Barcelona.
Parris has been named in Phil Neville’s England squad for the upcoming women’s world cup in France which starts next month.
