On 18 May 2019, Manchester City completed the unprecedented domestic treble. They are the first senior men’s club team in England to achieve this feat.
The Sky Blues defeated Watford on Saturday in the FA Cup Final to win their third domestic trophy this season (or fourth if you include the Community Shield).
Manchester City previously won the EFL “Carabao” Cup on 24 February after dispatching Chelsea on penalties. The Sky Blues then won the 2018/19 English Premier League on 12 May after edging Liverpool in what was one the EPL’s most entertaining title races in recent memory.
Manchester City will host their trophy parade on Monday, 20 May. The Sky Blues will then break for the summer recess, where they will take a much earned and needed vacation.
The senior team will return in mid-July as they begin their preseason tour in Asia.
