Manchester City have opened contract talks with Raheem Sterling, just one year after agreeing a new contract with the City winger, according to the Daily Mirror.
Sterling has scored 18 goals for City and England so far this season, and has been a major player for both club and country, to the point where Real are rumoured to be interested in signing the 24 year old.
The winger is under contract until 2023, but the blues seem eager to tie the former Liverpool man down to a longer contract. Sterling has been on top form both on and off the field this season, as he continues to play a starring role in City’s wildy unpredictable season, while continuing to be the face of the fight against racism in football.
