Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has walked away unscathed after a car crash that left the front wheel of his Range Rover mangled.

The Argentine striker was on his way to training at the Etihad Campus when the incident happened, but it has been reported City’s all-time record goal scorer did not require medical attention, and later post a picture of the damage on Instagram.

Blues fans will no doubt be relieved by the news that Aguero wasn’t hurt and should be okay to face Crystal Palace on Saturday evening. Two years ago, Aguero was involved in a car accident when he was travelling in a taxi in Amsterdam after being allowed to attend a Maluma concert.

A small portion of fans directed their anger towards the club following the incident, saying it was irresponsible of them to allow the star striker to go to the concert during the football season. Aguero subsequently missed the following match at Chelsea due to suffering bruised ribs in the accident, although the blues won the match 1-0 thanks to a goal from Kevin de Bruyne.
