Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero looks to be in contention for Monday’s Premier League match at home to Wolves.
The Argentine missed City’s two high scoring cup matches after suffering from a bout of flu following the blues 2-1 victory over Liverpool last week. City will be hoping their all-time record goal scorer will be available to lead the line against the Black Country side, but may find it difficult to take four goal marksman Gabriel Jesus out of the starting line-up.
The news comes after manager Pep Guardiola was given another injury boost when Benjamin Mendy returned to training erlier this week. The French left back suffered another long bout on the sidelines and underwent knee surgery in November.
It is the second time in two seasons Mendy has spent some time on the sidelines and it will be good to have the defender back with more games to play before the end of the season.
