Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has signed a one year extension to his contract, which takes him to 2021.
The Argentine is City's all time record goal scorer with 204 goals so far, but has scored three league goals this season, all in the second game against Huddersfield Town.
"I'm very happy because they have treated me well since the first day I got here" said the striker. "My idea was being here for ten years. This was the main reason I signed."
Aguero became a hero at the club in his first season, and his last minute winner against QPR in 2012 will never be forgotten as the blues stole the league from United.
"We are fortunate enough to have had one of the best strikers in the world at our club for so many years," City director of football Txiki Begiristain said and stated that the striker remains at the forefront of what we want to achieve in the coming years.
