Manchester City have been drawn in Group F of this season’s Champions League draw alongside Shakhtar Donetsk, Olympique Lyon and Hoffenheim.
This will be City’s eight consecutive year in the Champions League and they will be looking to go all the way this time after last seasons quarter-final defeat to Liverpool.
The Blues will travel once again to face Shakhtar Donetsk having lost their last season. The Ukrainian side were one of only five teams to beat City in last seasons record-breaking campaign.
It will be the first time City meet both Lyon and Hoffenheim in a competitive fixture.
