A new report from the Manchester Evening News has pegged Adrien Rabiot as a replacement if the long negotiate transfer of Jorginho falls through.
According to the report the France international is open to moving on from the French giants this summer after growing frustrated by a lack of support from the Paris Saint-Germain board.
The report also speaks to Rabiot’s feelings about being letdown by the club, which failed to be more supportive about his lack of inclusion in the French National Team. Not to mention not supportiung his decision to refuse to be a reserve for France at the World Cup.
The report also suggest the player is frustrated by his future role at the club after the arrival of new manager Thomas Tuchel. And even with new talks about his role upcoming he has instructed his agent to seek out a possible move.
City signing Rabiot would add to an already loaded midfield, but with Rabiot searching for consistent playing time, he will not find it at City.
Still, Rabiot is a solid midfielder and would add great depth as the Centurions try to repeat league titles and make a deep run in the Champions League.
