Jorginho’s agent, Joao Santos has warned Napoli that his client will not be happy if his protracted move to Manchester City does not materialise, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Santos was in England earlier this week and was expecting things to have progressed, but has now issued a warning if Napoli deny the player an ‘opportunity of a lifetime.’

“The player is waiting on Napoli’s decision, he still has two years left on his contract but will not renew. Will he be happy to stay at Napoli? Jorginho is a great professional, but this is the opportunity of his life and the life of his family. If he does not go to City he will not be very happy.”

Guardiola is rumoured to have identified alternatives targets should his number one option fail to come to fruition, and the blues have allegedly given the Italians a four day ‘take it or leave it’ deadline, which is now nearing its end.

Meanwhile, many outlets are reporting the blues are on the verge of signing Riyad Mahrez from Leicester City.

Will Mahrez and Jorginho finally join the blues? Let us know your thoughts.
