Unless you’ve been living on Mars for the last few days, you will no doubt be aware that Manchester City clinched the Premier League title on Sunday following Manchester United’s 1-0 home defeat to bottom side West Brom.

It has been a record breaking season already for City, with the blues setting a new 18 game Premier League winning streak, and are on course to break the highest points tally and highest goal scoring tally for the Premier League.

It is also the first time the blues have won the league with games to spare. On the last three occasions City have won the league, the title was decided on the final day. In 2014, the blues beat West Ham take the title from Liverpool, and there was the unforgettable Aguero moment in 2012. And prior to that, City won the league in 1968 with a 4-3 win at Newcastle to snatch the title away from United.
