After a pretty comfortable Round of 16 tie against FC Basel, Manchester City will face a completely different level of opponent in the Champions League quarterfinals.
The Blues have been drawn against Liverpool and will play the first leg at Anfield on April 3/4, with the second leg taking place at the Etihad Stadium one week later. Liverpool are the only Premier League team to have beaten Manchester City this season, and the two matches between them should be simply spectacular.
These are the full results of Friday’s draw, with the teams on the right playing the second leg at home:
Barcelona vs AS Roma
Sevilla vs Bayern Munich
Juventus vs Real Madrid
Liverpool vs Manchester City
So what do you think of the draw, Blues?
