Leroy Sane and David Silva return to Manchester City training

Manchester City have been given a boost as both Leroy Sane and David Silva have returned to training with the club.

The duo were both spotted in action on Monday as Manchester City prepare for Tuesday’s Champions League clash with FC Basel, although there was no sign of Gabriel Jesus.

Pep Guardiola said before the win over Leicester City that Sane will miss the Basel game as he recovers from ankle ligament damage.

However, it looks as though he may be back sooner than expected after returning to training with the group.

Silva is also back, although it remains to be seen if he will be involved in tomorrow’s game.
