It’s been an eventful January transfer window for Manchester City to say the least.
Alexis Sanchez was expected to arrive but instead headed to United while there was huge speculation over a deadline day move for Riyad Mahrez.
Neither player arrived but City won’t be too disappointed with that and instead have brought in Aymeric Laporte for a club record fee.
The defender enjoyed a fine debut against West Bromwich Albion and based on that evidence, it looks money well spent.
Here’s a complete look at Manchester City’s January business:
IN
Aymeric Laporte from Athletic Bilbao - fee said to be £57 million
Jack Harrison from New York City - undisclosed fee.

It’s probably not been the transfer window we expected, but the arrival of Laporte to strengthen the defence is a great move as we head towards the business end of the season.
