A Trio Of Manchester City Players Nominated For UEFA Team Of The Year

Three City players have been nominated for the UEFA Team of the Year 2018.

John Stones, Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva have all made the 50-man shortlist,

which has been decided by UEFA journalists based on players’ domestic and international performances, as well as their displays in the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Super Cup.

I am happy for all involved, but can we talk about how Ederson was robbed inclusion in this list?! He played for arguably the best Premier League team ever, conceded the fewest goals and played great as Guardiola’s “Keeper-Sweeper”. How he is not included on this list is criminal! His Champions League efforts were solid too, even if City did not make it very far.
