City’s incredible form in the capital continued with a comfortable 4-0 win over West Ham.
From the City website comes this great stat- It’s the first time a team outside of London has won six successive top-flight matches in the capital for 67 years and is the Blues thirteenth win in 14 matches in the city.
City were just to much to handle in the opening 45 minutes, scoring three times in the space of 23 minutes through David Silva, Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane.
The centurions took the second half a little more nonchalant, until Sane added a fourth with almost the last kick of the game.

Pep Guardiola Reaction
On his staff…
”I have an incredible staff and they know exactly when we have to train and when we have days off.
”They are the master at that, especially Lorenzo Buenaventura.
”How you handle regeneration is key.
”We push the players, it’s the only way.”
On his squad…
”Riyad has to play good because Sterling is there, and Sterling has to play good because Riyad is there.
”Nico Otamendi was incredible last season. Txiki and the people at City provide me with a great squad.
”If you want to compete, the players have to play good every time. If they don’t, next time they are not going to play.”
On what pleases him most…
”The most important thing is that after what we achieved last season, we are still consistent and humble.
”Our passing today wasn’t great but in terms of how we run without the ball it was fantastic.
”This season will be tough. Chelsea are so good - Tottenham didn’t spend one pound and they are they are there. Premier League remains tough, we can’t deny it.”
Leroy Sane Reaction
“We are all happy that we won here, especially away and after an international break,” he said.
”Before my first goal we did a lot of passes. Raz had an eye for me in the middle.
”Raheem is unbelievable. A great guy, how he played this season he has improved a lot. It’s really exciting to play with him
”He has the hunger to score more goals. I’m really happy for him.
”Everyone can see we are really motivated to win the games.”
Raheem Sterling Reaction
“All I can say is we want to get better. We want to improve. It’s a new season, we need to be on top of our game,” said Sterling.
“I thought at times we did some very good stuff. But at times we could have been better. Great win but at the same time a lot to improve on.
“We gave them too many chances. On another day if they had took them, it could have been more difficult.
“We know what we done last year and it’s easy to be complacent. He (Pep) wants to keep us at a high level.
“We are trying to be better, do our best. That’s what will take us to the next level. Every day we need to perform and win games.
“There’s great competition, the other teams are doing well. We need to not be complacent, and to keep improving.”
Sane also dovetailed superbly with Sterling, setting up the England winger for City’s second goal before Sterling returned the favour for Sane’s first goal.
And Sterling said: “We’ve got a great understanding. When I see him (Leroy) on the ball, I can guess what he’s going to do.”
