Manchester City again face being without defender Danilo after the Brazilian was injured again while on international duty.
The defender has only just returned from injury sustained during the World Cup, and went off during Brazil’s 1-0 win over Argentina, after falling awkwardly on his left foot, and the team doctor is waiting to determine if Danilo has suffered a twisted ankle, bone edema or ligament damage.
The defender has only made on appearance this season, during the 3-0 win over Oxford United in the League Cup and is unlikely to be fit for Saturday’s Premier League game at home to Burnley on Saturday.
