Manchester City to offer £50m for Maguire
Today’s rumors start off with Leicester City defender Harry Maguire and claims that Manchester City will offer £50m for him this winter.
According to The Sun, Maguire has seriously impressed Pep Guardiola who is after a new centre-back in January.
Off all the defensive options, Maguire would probably be the most expensive, but would take little convincing to move to the Etihad Stadium.
Man City to bid £13m for Alexis
Over at the Daily Star, they bring quotes from Guillem Balague who says that Manchester City are planning to offer between £13m to £17.5m for Alexis Sanchez.
The only problem with that is, as Balague admits, it’s a price that Arsenal will quite likely say no to.
Or will they bid £25m?
However, the Sunday Mirror reckons City will offer £25m for Sanchez, and give up on trying to land Inigo Martinez.
Elsewhere, in the Mirror they also reckon that Arsenal will sell Sanchez for £35m, but only if they land Riyad Mahrez first. Who to believe?
New deal for Leroy Sane
And finally today we end with news that City are set to offer Leroy Sane a new deal before the World Cup.
According to the Daily Star, Sane will be handed a pay rise that will see him earn £100,000-per-week as a reward for his good form.
