Manchester City qualified for the fourth round of the FA Cup almost two weeks ago with a great win against Burnley, but the Blues had to wait a while to find out who their opponent would be.

They know now: Cardiff City of the Championship have eliminated Mansfield of League Two thanks to a 4-1 victory in the 3rd Round replay between the two sides. The first game in Wales ended 0-0 and there was a chance Mansfield would get a giant upset at home, but Cardiff showed their superiority and are through to the next round.

The Bluebirds are flying high in the Championship (pun intended), currently in third place and fighting hard for automatic promotion to the Premier League. Because of that, they might decide to go with a weaker side against the Premier League leaders, but we just have to wait and see.

City’s trip to Wales will be on Sunday, January 28 at 16:00 GMT.
