OFFICIAL: Kelechi Iheanacho joins Leicester City from Manchester City

New, comments

Good luck, Kelechi!

After two years of goals and many displays of his potential, Kelechi Iheanacho is leaving Manchester City to join the dethroned champions, Leicester City.

The Foxes have paid the Sky Blues a £25 million fee to complete the deal, and City have included a £50 million buyback clause in case Iheanacho turns into the best striker in the Premier League in a few years, which is definitely not a remote possibility.

Iheanacho is an Academy product that made his debut with a game-winner at Selhurst Park against Crystal Palace back in 2015, and he went on to score 26 goals in 73 appearances for the club. At Leicester, Iheanacho will partner Jamie Vardy up front and will get the chance to play many minutes and realize his full potential.

Good luck, Kelechi!
