It looks as though Eliaquim Mangala is staying in England but still leaving Manchester City. According to a report from TransferMarketWeb (or TMW), the Blues have rejected a loan offer from Inter Milan for the French defender and ended the Italian club’s hopes of signing him.

With City’s decision to reject Inter’s offer, the only likely destination for Mangala seems to be Crystal Palace, who have made a £20 million bid that was accepted by the Blues earlier today.
The future of Mangala is key to the Blues’ chase of West Bromwich Albion defender Jonny Evans, and with the Frenchman seemingly going to Palace it looks like City will give West Brom the £30 million and get the Evans deal over the line.
Let’s wait for further developments...
