Pep Guardiola wants Pepe Reina
The signing of Éderson wasn’t the last when it comes to goalkeepers, as Manchester City want to add another name to the list. Pep Guardiola wants to reunite with Pepe Reina, the former Liverpool star who worked with Guardiola at Bayern Munich and is currently starting for Napoli. The Italian giants reportedly rejected the first offer from City at around £2.9 million, but Napoli are willing to sell for £4.5 million and the Sky Blues could match that until the end of the window.
PSG favorites to sign Alexis Sánchez
Oh hey, more Alexis Sánchez rumors! After the Chilean gave a revealing interview saying he wants to play Champions League football this season, which won’t happen at Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain have come back with a strong interest and are considered favorites to sign the forward, according to the Telegraph. Man City have been linked with Alexis forever, but Arsenal don’t want to sell the Chilean to an English rival and selling him to PSG might convince the Gunners to let Sánchez go.
Fernando agrees Galatasaray deal
Man City midfielder Fernando has agreed a move to Galatasaray in Turkey, according to Milliyet. The Brazilian had very few minutes under Guardiola last season and is on the transfer list. City hope to get around £10 million for Fernando, but Galatasaray might be able to get the player for less.
