According to a report from France Football journalist Nabil Djellit, Celtic Glasgow have completed the signing of Manchester City youngster Olivier Ntcham. The fee is believed to be around £7million for the French playmaker who may become the new number ten in Brendan Rodgers' side next season.

The deal materialized quickly after Ntcham was linked with the Scottish champions not long after the end of the season. Originally a price tag of around £4million was thought to be enough but the number was bumped up as City hope to fund their big summer spending spree.

Ntcham spent the last two seasons on loan in the Serie A with Genoa. There he greatly impressed manager Andrea Mandorlini who had nothing but praise for the youngster. Ntcham was never really near the first team squad for City, but will have every opportunity to flourish with Celtic.

The Daily Record has tipped Ntcham to become an excellent player in the near future. Playing in a side with such high domestic expectations and success as Celtic can certainly help advance the career of Ntcham.

Good luck, Olivier!
