OFFICIAL: Aaron Mooy joins Huddersfield Town on permanent transfer from Manchester City

After a very successful loan spell that helped Huddersfield Town reach England's top flight, Aaron Mooy will play for the Terriers on a permanent transfer from Manchester City.

Town has paid a guaranteed record fee of £8 million to Manchester City for the Australian international, with additional contingencies that could see the deal rise to £10 million.

26-year old Aaron was a key figure for the Terriers as the team gained promotion to the Premier League for the first time via the Playoffs, scoring four times and grabbing seven assists as a virtual ever-present in David Wagner’s side during a season-long loan from The Citizens.

He has put pen to paper on a contract running until 2020, having returned to England after playing for his country in the Confederations Cup in Russia.

Mooy will certainly enjoy great success again with Huddersfield and he'll surely play a pivotal part on the side's Premier League campaign.
