PSG reportedly ready to make bid for Manchester City's Sergio Agüero

A ridiculous report suggests PSG are readying a bid for City's top striker. LOL.

According to The Times, Paris Saint-Germain are ready to make a big splash in the transfer market after missing out on the Ligue 1 title to Monaco last season. The report suggests PSG are after Manchester City striker Sergio Agüero and are ready to make a £60million-plus bid to acquire the Argentine’s services.

It seems that every summer since he’s arrived at the Etihad, Agüero has been linked with a massive transfer away from the club. Obviously nothing has come of this in the past but the latest report is interesting nonetheless. It seems if PSG can't attract Kylian Mbappé from Monaco this summer perhaps their next option would be Agüero.

From a City perspective it still seems crazy to think the club would sell Agüero after the Argentine bagged 33 goals in all competitions last season. The only reason some doubt might creep into the minds of supporters, though, is the fact Aguero is 29 years old, and while he doesn't look like slowing down anytime soon, the arrival of Gabriel Jesus certainly shows Pep Guardiola has his eyes on the future.

Add to that fact the possibility of City signing Alexis Sánchez and perhaps selling of Agüero isn't as crazy as in years past. That said, Sergio has showed multiple times he’s still a world class striker in the Premier League, and barring a jaw-dropping bid City supporters should expect their top striker back in the starting lineup come August.
