Willy Caballero is gone, Angus Gunn is too young, and Joe Hart will be sold this summer. If you're a Manchester City fan and you're worried about only having Claudio Bravo as your goalkeeper, stop worrying.
We have a new keeper, and he's a really good one. According to multiple reports from Portugal and England City and Benfica have struck a £40 million transfer, which would be the most expensive goalkeeper signing in history.
And then there was this...

... And this.

Yeah, this is a done deal. Éderson will be joining on July 1st and the official announcement is likely to be made on Wednesday along with the release of next season's new kits.
The Brazilian is one of the top prospects in Europe and has unbelievable distribution skills. He can make short passes and has insanely accurate long balls, which will add a completely new dimension to City's attack.
Pep Guardiola signed Bravo and it didn't work, but Éderson has a much higher ceiling and could become a truly world-class keeper.
Welcome, Éderson (almost)!
